We specialize in a variety of neuro-optometric services for children and adults of all ages. This includes comprehensive evaluations of the visual system, therapeutic eyewear, vision therapy services, and so much more. Vision plays a key role in the whole body’s sensory processing system and how we learn and navigate our world. Our goal is to help patients suffering from visual dysfunction due to eye turns, lazy eye, developmental delay, traumatic brain injury, concussion, stroke, neurological disorders, disease, and vision related learning disabilities that are commonly misdiagnosed as ADHD and/or anxiety.
Vision is a complex system that exists throughout the whole brain. The complexity
of the visual system goes far beyond the measurement of 20/20.
Eye diseases are known to adversely affect quality of life. Some common examples are cataracts, dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, conjunctivitis, and ocular trauma due to a foreign body agitating the eye.
Visual processing issues occur when the brain has trouble interpreting visual information. A person can have 20/20 visual acuity but have a visual processing disorder.
Primitive reflexes are reflexive movements that exist during infancy. Retention of these reflexes affect the development and efficiency of the body’s Sensory Processing Systems.

Most vision exams check only 9% of the visual system. If you had a service check on your car, would you only want 9% of the car checked?
8% of the population suffers from convergence insufficiency, which is a visual dysfunction NOT commonly checked in routine eye exams, pediatric exams, or schools.

I am so grateful for the awesome vision therapy experience I had at Neuro Eye Team! Dr. Conley and my therapists, Britany & Christine, were incredibly supportive and knowledgeable throughout my year of therapy.
I have exotropia (eye turns), and at my very first appointment with Dr. Conley, he corrected my glasses prescription. It turns out I had been wearing the completely wrong prism lenses for almost a decade. For context, I'd seen 4 different optometrists and ophthalmologists in 2 different states in the decade prior to that very first appointment with Dr. Conley. In my opinion, I don't think many eye doctors really understand exotropia or exophoria -- so I am so glad to have found someone who truly understands the condition and knows how to treat it as opposed to simply adding more and more prism to the lenses as a band-aid fix.
Before starting therapy, I struggled with headaches, eye strain, and difficulty focusing for extended periods. Working remotely, my eyes always felt very strained and tired at the end of each day. My vision therapy program at Neuro Eye Team was very comprehensive. It included a variety of exercises designed to improve eye coordination, tracking, focusing, and overall visual processing. The at-home activities were also super achievable. All in all, the therapists are highly skilled and made the exercises fun and challenging. Britany & Christine are also super knowledgeable and were able to answer my many, many questions about the why behind each of the exercises too.
Over the course of my year in vision therapy, I noticed a significant improvement in my vision and, honestly, my overall well-being. My headaches decreased dramatically, and I can now focus for longer periods without experiencing eye fatigue. I highly recommend Neuro Eye Team to anyone in need of vision therapy. Dr. Conley and his team are truly dedicated to helping their patients achieve their best possible vision!
